Alex Pecoraro

Alex is the Head of Retirement Services Technology and has been leading the refactoring of the Outsourced Services, in partnership with Anup Vidwans and Ray Bellucci, to help IFS realize our next-generation Retirement Product Offers. His recent leadership of a cross-functional architecture, product and transformation team – using the most innovative technology – has yielded significant time to market, performance, and delivery improvements.

Alex joined TIAA in 2011 as part of the insurance organization delivering on the M Financial integration. Prior to TIAA, he led product management for Adaptivity, where his business-driven transformation approaches were adopted by Barclays, Unisys and Wells Fargo. He also led Architecture and Innovation at Wachovia’s Corporate Investment Bank. Alex brings more than 20 years of industry experience and is the holder of six patents for innovative industry transforming solutions. He has an MSEE from Purdue University and an MBA from Duke University.
